no scott, there was very little value with him and I'm sure he wanted to stay in spain. someone like the big czech striker krmencik would be a low risk signing, and a player with european experience and a goal every three games

everything they do is cheapo, im not interested in higuain's wage demands. we should be scouting for the next higuain but that takes some effort and knowledge, so they'd rather throw another load of money down the drain

Was a superb player in his day but has lost his pace and never really had much of that in the first place. Great technically and proper eye for goal but you need to get on those positions and he is too much off the pace now.

Higuain on a 4 year deal would cost the club the guts of £80m.
That would be way out of our league even for a superstar striker that has a resale value which Higuain is no longer.
